I'm hoping that this blog will keep me connected to my students, their parents and co-workers at CORE, and to my personal friends and family as I undergo my treatments for my relapsed follicular lymphoma. My treatment is due to begin on Wednesday, March 16. I'm eager to start because you can't finish what you don't start. I'm grateful to the folks at Enloe Cancer Center for speeding this process along for us. They have been most understanding.
That's all for today. Have a warm and dry weekend, and a great spring break to my CORE family. Please feel free to comment below. Don't worry if you don't see your comment right away, it needs to be approved by me first so that people I don't know can't post. If you want to comment, but not have it published, just say 'please don't post.' Otherwise, I'll assume that you're ok with allowing your post to be published.
So my big question for my students today is, since I'm not going anywhere on break, what are you doing for break?
